Welcome to Far Horizons 49er Village RV Resort in the Sierra Foothills of Amador County! We are conveniently located close to more than 30 award-winning wineries in the Shenandoah Valley -- less than 10 minutes away -- and the Amador Flower Farm. A little further down the road you can enjoy the wineries of El Dorado County. Amador County is a wonderful place to visit for a close-up look into California's historic gold era: Fiddletown, Placerville, Plymouth, Dry Town, Amador City, Sutter Creek and Jackson. You can even visit a working gold mine and go for a below-ground tour in Sutter Creek.

NOTE: This is NOT a site map of our resort (go to p. 12 of our Guest Guide). This will only tell you if we have any of a particular site type available for the specific dates you enter.

You can check to see if we RV sites available for specific dates, and the associated fees, 24 hours a day by using our real-time online reservations system. It's simple, quick, and really handy if you want to check site availability after the Office is closed.

Go to the Book Your Site website (our real-time online reservation system), once there

  1. Chose your "Site Type" and "Power" preferences
  2. Enter your Arrival and Departure Dates
  3. Select your RV Type from the list
  4. Select an RV Length from the list
  5. Click on "Proceed"

If a site is available, you will see a Reservation Summary that includes the reservation cost and deposit required. If the site type you requested is not available for the dates you selected, you will receive a message to that effect.

If the site type you want is available, you can continue the online instructions to make your reservation. If you need to make a change to the information you submitted, you can send an email to reservations@49ervillage.com with the name used for your reservation, city and phone number, and what you need to change. Only press the submit button once and only make your reservation once or you may be charged $5.00 for cancellation of duplicate reservations.

Note: The reservation system provides "site type" availability, but is unable to provide availability of (or reserve) a specific site by number. You will need to call 800-339-6981 to check the availability of, and to reserve, a specific site by number.
